Land O’ Lakes Maternity Session

When a client comes to me for maternity photos and trusts me entirely with the process, we make magic happen!  Kayce, along with her husband & son, visited me at my Land O’Lakes studio for maternity photos and I am *loving* what we created!

Kayce is expecting a baby girl soon and she wanted photos to celebrate the occasion.  I’m not sure how she manages to look as glam as she does with a toddler at home while being pregnant, but doesn’t she look amazing?  She completely rocked this session! 

When clients are willing to be vulnerable, it gives my creativity the opportunity to kick into high gear.  It’s true that not every expectant mama is thrilled with the idea of putting their bump on full display.  Look, I get it!  But keep in mind that your body is in the middle of creating another actual human and if that’s not worth celebrating, I don’t know what is.  (And let’s be real here, you’re gonna be way more exposed in delivery anyway so you may as well have some beautiful photos to commemorate the occasion beforehand!)

In fact, some of my favorite shots are the photos of Kayce in the adorable crop top.  She was absolutely radiant! We went for a bit of a boho vibe and her wardrobe was perfect for it.  Flowy, neutral dresses allow the mother-to-be to be the star of the show while still feeling as feminine and gorgeous as they truly are!

The love this mama has for her sweet little dude is precious.  Isn’t the shot of him kissing her the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen?  He’s going to be the best big brother and his parents are amazing with him.  I can’t wait to see how much love (and cuteness) is added to this family once baby girl arrives.

Kayce, thank you so much for hanging out with me in the studio and allowing me to capture your beautiful family.  You all were such a dream to work with and the love you have for each other is contagious.  Baby girl has no idea how lucky she is to get to join the three of you.  Congratulations!
