Thanks so much for snagging a spot on my calendar! I cannot wait to have you in front of my camera!

I know what it's like to be a bit stressed before a session though, so here's a ton of helpful tips!

The most commonly asked questions are about outfits.

What looks good? How to coordinate? Why can't I pick my kids’ cute clothes first?! Let me just say, this has become my new favorite thing to do!! I’m here to help!

Now, if you think you've got enough clothes to choose from at home, perfect!! But let me tell you some things that look crazy on camera... please don't show up with these thingssss KTHANKSLOVEYOUBYEEEE

What not to do:

Please do not match everyone in the same outfits! This is only cute for little kids... no more ‘everyone in white tanks and blue jeans’.. just no. please no. HA! k thannnnks
Please do not wear clothing with logos, graphic tees, or crazy-colored dinosaur shirts. That dinosaur teeshirt matches nothinggggg and you know it LOL
Please do not wear any neon colors. Neon green, orange, and yellow belong on traffic signs and nowhere else. For realz. I promise.
Also, if you don’t want your bra straps showing, make sure that they aren’t. ;) Momma needs to be comfortable in her outfit... THAT should be your first priority in choosing outfits. If a momma is worried about her outfit the whole time; pulling down the length, or fixing shoulders, you'll be able to quickly tell on camera where her focus is... We want mommas focused on their favorite humans and that’s it <3

Okay, so speaking of favorite humans… Ladies, DADS AND KIDS RARELY LOVE THEIR PHOTOS TAKEN…. And that’s OKAY! I’ve gottttttt this.

Another thing about kids and cameras.. Ya'll they loveeee to melt down and throw fits. They be tryin' us at our most vulnerable times. For real, it's alllll good! Please do not worry about your kids attitudes on the day of your photoshoot. A crying kid is way harder to get a shot of than one who is just free spirited and left to themselves. No need to reprimand on photoshoot days, I’ll get them to have fun with you :) I’m interested in capturing you loving on your babies, so bring the love... and silliness!

Let’s just let them kids be young and crazy! Bribe your hubby, bribe your kids- I’m not above bribery LOL!! If you do bribe the kids, I will say- let me in on the bribe! This way iiiiii can use it to chat with them- but pleaseeeee do not threaten to take away that bribe/treat. *Insert praying hands* haha

So, let me capture them JUST AS THEY ARE! I promise I will get great shots of them in action and full of their personality. Which is what we want to remember most anyways, right?

I also have this weird problem where I ask someone their name, and IMMEDIATELY FORGET IT… Am I the only one like this? So be prepared to hear me call you 'mom' and 'dad' a bazillion times. It's just easier haha!
